The BRAC is providing stipend for the students who will pass secondary school certificate (SSC) this year. BRAC is the world largest international non-government organization (INGO) based in Bangladesh. It has been working for development of education, poverty elimination and economic development by its micro finance, development activities and the corporate social responsibilities. It is active in country and abroad. The stipend giving initiative taken by the BRAC is the grand opportunity for the students who will study in higher secondary level of education.
The stipend offered by the BRAC will get the poor and the children of the labor who are interested to study in the HSC level. There are many students who will make excellent result in secondary school certificate exam, but are not able to study in higher secondary level of education due to financial backwardness. BRAC will provide them stipend to study in this level of education.
The stipend giving initiative taken by the BRAC is the BRAC Medhabikash Uddoyag. For getting stipend under this initiative students have to get GPA 5 (except 4th subject) in the secondary school certificate exam 2015. The students who will complete the SSC from the BRAC primary school need GPA 5 including the 4th subject. The father of the applicant or the head of the family have been working as labor.
The candidates have to apply for the BRAC Medhabikash Uddoyag stipend immediate after published the SSC result of 2015.
